The Serene Retreat is a little Gem giving a complete escape from the hustle and bustle of the outside world.  The treatment area is perfect - small enough to make you feel safe, big enough that you dont feel hemmed in.  It is calming and beautifully thought through.  The facial i had booked was unlike any ive experienced before - this was no cleansing, toning, moisturising, advise and off you pop; it was so much more!  The products Helen uses are gorgeous but, even more than that, is her approach to treatments.  She really cares and it shows.  The facial itself was wonderful - I cam away feeling as if my skin was 20 years younger and that i'd been on a mini-break!  If you've never had a facial - treat yourself; if you have - book an appointment anyway... you wont regret it!

Definitely recommend. I went to see Helen on Thursday after a particularly stressful night and lack of sleep.  I had a migraine which had kicked in and I was feeling stressed.  An hour of Reiki and the pain in my head started to ease and I felt calmer and definitely less stressed.  Helen makes you feel at ease and is professional all the way through and takes time to listen at the end.

I visited The Serene Retreat last week after receiving a leaflet.  I religiously have massages once a month for health reasons and like to try new places in between this.  I have had massages all over the world so was very surprised when a leaflet led to the best massage ive ever had in this country!  It was incredible...  I felt like a new woman the next day and extremely relaxed.  The retreat is so peaceful and beautifully situated down a little cobbled garden path.  i am still in shock to have found such a gem and have already booked further treatments.  Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful 75 minute facial this morning with Helen, was lovely to have a bit of me time in such a relaxing place!!
my skin feels so soft and I believe that all the products used were vegan and smelled just lovely!  highly recommend this little gem of a place and looking forward to visiting again in the future.

Due to medical reasons I was unable to have any other treatment I wished to have and Helen and I agreed that I could have a Reiki session - I was certainly not disappointed!

From being met at The Serene Retreat entrance and guided down the garden path to the most beautiful and relaxing environment I have been to in a long while!  The introduction talk before hand to the completion of the whole process was very reassuring, especially as this was my first visit and Reiki.  Helen offered for me to use my won crystals along with hers to promote any welcome energies.

The whole experience was amazing, relaxing, spiritually uplifting and helped in areas that I wasnt expecting.  It gave me comfort and the free mind to stop over thinking and deal with daily stresses even nearly a week on!
