For the IPL treatment to have the best chance of being successful we need to catch the hair in its anagen growth stage, there needs to be sufficient melanin in the hair ( we can not treat grey / silver. red or blonde hair) and at this point the IPL will stop the hair regeneration.  As the hair cycle varies on different parts of the body and due to hormonal changes, the number of treatments required will also vary from client to client.​There is no pain from this treatment and a cooling paddle is placed on the skin before and after the treatment to minimise any discomfort or redness.​Most areas of the body can be treated, and a consultation and patch test must be carried out before a treatment program can commence.
